BJP MP packs liquor in Lok Sabha, accuses AAP government of promoting liquor in Delhi

New Delhi, December 6: BJP MP Parvesh Verma showed a pack of liquor in the Lok Sabha on Monday, accusing the AAP government of promoting liquor in the national capital. Speaking during Zero Hour, he alleged that the Delhi government was busy drafting the new excise policy at a time when the people of the city were in search of oxygen during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

While branding the liquor packets, Verma claimed that as per the new excise policy of the AAP government, the drinking age limit has been reduced, liquor shops can remain open till 3 am and women from 12 am to 12 noon. Verma further said that instead of fulfilling the promise of providing fresh and clean water in the national capital, the AAP government is providing liquor to the people.
