Earlier, Somaiya had accused Maharashtra cabinet ministers Chhagan Bhujbal and Anil Parab of money laundering.

On September 13, Somaiya had accused Rural Development Minister and MLA from Kolhapur’s Kagal Mushrif of indulging in corruption and keeping ‘benami’ in the name of his family members. These allegations were later dismissed.
