BJP appreciates Modi government’s cut in petrol, diesel prices

The BJP on Wednesday lauded the central government’s decision to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel as the Prime Minister Narendra ModiDiwali gift. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda said that this decision will increase consumption and keep inflation low.

“I thank @narendramodi ji’s government for reducing excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively on the eve of Diwali from tomorrow. Reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel will boost consumption and Inflation will remain low, thus helping poor and middle class,” Nadda said in a tweet. BJP chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said Modi has given a wonderful Diwali gift. The government on Wednesday reduced excise duty on petrol and diesel.
