As the BJP’s two-day national executive meeting begins in Delhi today, reports have suggested that the office-bearers will be served some of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s favorite dishes. These include dal-khichdi topped with ghee, sev-tomato curry, Marwari pulao and rava masala dosa among other mouth-watering dishes.
The health factor will also be considered while preparing the cuisine for the grand senior leaders meeting.
According to reports, BJP members attending the meeting on January 16 will be served salted chapatti, potato-fenugreek, rava masala dosa, sambar, dal-khichdi and ghee and sev-tomato curry with ajwain, while Mishri- Mawa. Badam Halwa, Mysorepak will be served for dessert.
On January 17, on the second and last day of the executive, food made from millet has been given prominence in the lunch. Mainly to the members of the executive, dishes and sweets made of coarse grains will also be served in the form of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bajra Maheri with Buttermilk, Bajra Maheri with Soup, Red Cowpea Salad, Fiber Dahi Vada, Bajra Papdi Chaat, Ragi Idli, Bajra Khichdi with Chutney and Sambhar, Millet Khichdi with Curry, Bisibele Bhaat, Jowar Dhokli, Dal Along with panchmeli, methi bajra ka saag, jowar roti will be served for lunch.
Bajra roti, bajra methi paratha, jowar roti, barley and gram paratha will also be served. Along with this, bajra kheer and shamak ki phirni sweets will also be made in the traditional way.
What is BJP’s two-day National Executive Conference?
The BJP’s two-day national executive meeting is likely to endorse the extension of the term of party national president JP Nadda and deliberate on its strategy for the assembly and general elections. Nadda’s three-year term as national president ends this month. He is likely to lead the party till the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are over.
The party has organized a roadshow for Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Patel Chowk to NDMC Convention Centre, the venue of the meeting, before the commencement of the National Executive meeting on Monday.
