Bihar: Male Student Faints After Finding Himself Among 500 Girls in Exam Centre – Here’s What Happened

Patna: A Class 12 student among 500 girl students in Bihar’s Nalanda district fainted in the examination hall on Wednesday. The student, identified as 17-year-old Manish Shankar Prasad, had gone to appear for a maths exam at the Brilliant Convent School, Sundergarh. His relatives claimed that he was the only male student at the centre. When he saw the large number of girl students, he panicked and fell on the floor.

The school administration helped him and admitted him to Sadar Hospital for treatment. His father Satchidanand Prasad said that he regained consciousness after a few hours. Another relative accused the Bihar Intermediate Council of allotting them a dedicated exam center for girl students.

“There were more than 500 girl students in the exam center. The school administration has given a seat to my nephew in the main hall of the school surrounded by a large number of girls. Manish failed to handle the situation after seeing the large number.” The girls fainted more,” said her aunt.

Intermediate (Class 12th Board) exams started in Bihar from Wednesday and reports of cheating have come to the fore in several districts including Nalanda, neighboring Nawada, Munger, Banka, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Araria. Videos in this regard went viral at many examination centres.
