Bihar lifts restrictions on shops, parks, malls and coaching centers from Kovid. Patna News – Times of India

Patna: All religious places, parks, gardens, shopping malls, shops and others business establishments in bihar Will now be opened as normal, as the state government on Wednesday decided to lift almost all COVID-induced restrictions from Thursday (August 26) to September 25.
CM Nitish Kumar announced the relaxations through a series of tweets after the Crisis Management Group (CMG) meeting with senior members of his cabinet and top bureaucrats in the state.
“All kinds of public events including social, political, entertainment related, sports, cultural and religious can be organized with necessary precautions after taking permission from the district administration concerned. All universities, colleges, technical institutions, schools and coaching institutes will also open in the normal manner. State universities, colleges and schools can conduct their own exams. Cinema halls, clubs, gyms, swimming pools and restaurants will be opened with 50% of their capacity,” Nitish said.
Chief Secretary Tripurari Sharan issued a new notification announcing the new relaxations.
As per the latest notification, all employees and customers visiting the shops will have to wear face masks. Only vaccinated employees will be allowed to work in shops and commercial establishments. The shopkeepers will have to ensure vaccination of all the employees and also keep their list.
All coaching institutes can be opened in normal manner, but only vaccinated persons will be allowed to work.
No program shall be organized in any public place without prior permission of the district administration and without following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for COVID-19. The district administration will have the right to decide the maximum number of people to participate in such public event.
Wedding ceremonies can be conducted with necessary compliance of updated SOPs, but there will be no permission for DJ and ‘baaraat’ (wedding procession). The local police station has to be informed at least three days before the wedding ceremony.
The notification states that funeral and shradh programs can be conducted with necessary compliance of COVID SOPs.
