In today’s episode of Bigg Boss Tamil 5, actor-model Namitha Marimuthu will be seen narrating the hardships of the transgender community in the society. The promo was shared on Twitter by Vijay Television, which airs the reality show. In the promo, the show’s first transgender woman Namita talks about her life’s journey in the task ‘Oru Kadhai Solatuma’. While some contestants will share their life journey in the task, the rest will give their feedback through like, dislike and heart emojis.
It is the fourth day of Bigg Boss Tamil 5. At present there are 18 contestants inside BB House. The 100-day long reality show had a grand launch on 3rd October with glitz and glamour. Actor Kamal Haasan is hosting the show.
In the first promo of the fourth day of Bigg Boss Tamil 5, Namita shares the challenges she faced in her life.
“People say that we live in unity and harmony in this country. But, many people in the society do not accept transgender. They do not get any meaningful jobs and opportunities. They make a living by begging. The reason behind this is that we are not treated like normal human beings.
She went on to add, “We must stop this. The only way to stop this is to change our attitude towards ourselves and the transgender community.
Narrating the struggles, Namita could not control her emotions. The other contestants also wept after hearing the tragedy of their community. Namita has represented India and won Miss Trans Star International 2020, a beauty pageant for transgender women. In the premiere episode, Namita said that she is participating in Bigg Boss Tamil on behalf of her community.
On the third day, contestants Isaiwani and Chinna Ponnu spoke about their life struggles, how they fought poverty and made a name for themselves in their respective fields.
