Ahmedabad: Payal Rohatgi has been arrested by Ahmedabad Police at 9 am today over an argument with the members of the society in her building in the city. The police arrested the contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 2’ and took him to the Satellite police station in Ahmedabad. Payal has been accused of allegedly abusing her during the society meeting of the building.
For a long time, the dispute between Payal and the people of the society continued. The father of the actress had bought a house 4-5 years ago. It has recently been formed into a society.
Payal is accused that despite reaching the society’s AGM on June 20, Payal reached the society’s AGM on June 20. When she was not allowed to speak, Payal Rohatgi allegedly abused and quarreled in the meeting there.
According to the complaint lodged by the society, Payal has fought many times before. He is also accused of threatening to kill the chairman.
The entire incident took place at the Sundarban Epitome Society in Ahmedabad.
Payal Rohatgi’s husband Sangram Singh has boarded a flight and is currently going from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. He will reach there soon and leave for the police station where his wife has been kept after her arrest.
Sangram, while talking exclusively to ABP News, said that the society had objection to Payal making any kind of video inside the house and in the premises of the building. They would repeatedly stop and stop him from doing so.
According to Sangram, apart from this the society was demanding Rs 5 lakh from Payal’s family as development fee and this was also a major issue of dispute between the society and his wife.
Sangram further said that the police arrested Payal Rohatgi at nine o’clock this morning without any summons and also abused and assaulted in the police station.
