Gautam Vig also clarified that he and Soundarya Sharma do not hold any ‘hatred or bad blood’ against each other.
While Gautam Vig and Soundarya Sharma’s romantic relationship made headlines when both were inside the Bigg Boss 16 house, they have never been seen together since the show got over. And so, in a recent interview, Gautam spoke about his equation with Soundarya and shared how the two ‘cleared things’ after Salman Khan’s reality show.
“Many things were told to him by the insiders and he reacted to them which I think was right on his part. If I were in his place, I would probably have behaved the same way. But when she came out I called her and we talked. We cleared things up. And we talked when we met during the finale episode as well,” Gautam told E-Times.
The Junooniyat actor also mentioned that since they both are in different cities now, it is a ‘long distance thing right now’. “The thing is that now that we are in different cities, we are just trying to go with the flow and see how things go. It is better to be friends than enemies. Let us see how things will progress from here. We are not in a hurry as both of us are paying attention to his work. It’s a long way off now, let’s see what happens in the future.”
Gautam also clarified that they do not hold any ‘hatred or bad blood’ against each other. “We respect each other and hence we don’t speak against each other as we both are mature individuals. Rest we will see with time how things turn out. We will mostly talk everyday,” he concluded.
This comes amid reports that Soundarya is dating filmmaker and her Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Sajid Khan. However, the actress recently shared that she is ‘deeply hurt and disappointed’ by the reports and called them ‘false stories’.
“I am deeply saddened and disappointed by these false stories linking me with Sajid. I have always admired him as a friend, mentor and elder brother. It is disturbing that in this day and age, women are still victims of link-up stories. It is time society stops looking at us through the narrow prism of who we are dating and focus on what we are achieving,” she told Times Now.
