According to reports, the makers of controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ offered actress Rhea Chakraborty over Rs 35 lakh per week to participate in the show hosted by Salman Khan. However, the latest update is that the actress has politely turned down the offer.
The buzz about Rhea’s participation in Bigg Boss 15 intensified when she was seen with Tejashwi Prakash and former Bigg Boss contestant Dalljiet Kaur at the same studio in Mumbai.
But now as per a report in ETimes, Rhea will not participate in Bigg Boss 15 starting from 2nd October. The report further states that Rhea is meeting filmmakers in both Bollywood and Down South for work and will start working. Once again in the movies, but she is definitely not going to the Bigg Boss house.
The actress, whose life has come under scrutiny since the untimely and shocking demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June last year, has preferred to remain silent and refrained from talking to the media.
On the work front, Rhea was last seen in Rumi Jaffrey’s ‘Chehre’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
The new season of Bigg Boss will premiere on October 2 at 9.30 pm and will then air every Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturday-Sunday at 9.30 pm on Colors.
The four names were officially announced at a media conference in Nagpur. These included television actress and model Donal Bisht, former Bigg Boss contestant Asim Riaz’s brother Umar Riaz and ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ runners-up Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty.
