Bulldozers are being run on illegal constructions in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh on May 5 and 9 as part of the anti-encroachment drive. South MCD is taking action in many areas of Shaheen Bagh. This campaign has been started from May 4, which is being run in many areas of Delhi apart from Shaheen Bagh. For this, the Municipal Corporation has written a letter to the DCP and has also sought the help of the police force.

On Thursday, May 5, bulldozers were being run on illegal constructions from Kalindi Kunj Park in Shaheenbagh to Jamia Nagar police station. So on May 9 also, bulldozers will run from Kalindi Kunj to Shaheenbagh Main Road to Jasola Canal.

Supreme Court had imposed a ban on April 20
Earlier there was stone pelting and violence during Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri. However, 14 days have passed since the proceedings were stopped on Thursday, but there is no update from the court so far.
