Big action after Eid in Shaheenbagh: Action starts from today, bulldozer will run from Kalindi Kunj Park to Jamia Nagar

Bulldozers are being run on illegal constructions in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh on May 5 and 9 as part of the anti-encroachment drive. South MCD is taking action in many areas of Shaheen Bagh. This campaign has been started from May 4, which is being run in many areas of Delhi apart from Shaheen Bagh. For this, the Municipal Corporation has written a letter to the DCP and has also sought the help of the police force.

Bulldozers will be run in these areas
On Thursday, May 5, bulldozers were being run on illegal constructions from Kalindi Kunj Park in Shaheenbagh to Jamia Nagar police station. So on May 9 also, bulldozers will run from Kalindi Kunj to Shaheenbagh Main Road to Jasola Canal.

On May 4, a bulldozer was launched at the Karni Singh Shooting Range in Tughlakabad.

On May 4, South MCD bulldozers were carried out on illegal occupations at Karni Singh Shooting Range in Tughlakabad as part of an anti-encroachment operation. Where the people running the shop for many years got angry with the action.

Police force sought by writing a letter to DCP
South MCD President Rajpal Singh said that MCD is carrying out anti-encroachment drive in many parts of South Delhi. For this, the help of the police force has been sought by writing a letter to the DCP.

Shooting range started
President of South MCD said- We had made a plan to demolish the illegal construction 12-13 days ago. In which security was a big issue. A meeting was held with the police officers regarding this. We will start with the shooting range.

Bulldozers demolished many illegal houses in Jahangirpuri.

Supreme Court had imposed a ban on April 20
Earlier there was stone pelting and violence during Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri. After which the Supreme Court, after hearing the same day, stayed the proceedings for 14 days and directed to maintain the status quo till the next hearing. However, 14 days have passed since the proceedings were stopped on Thursday, but there is no update from the court so far.
