Newly elected Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will visit Delhi on Monday to meet President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi For the first time after assuming the post of CM.

The day Patel took over as the CM, the Prime Minister had called him and said that he would definitely enrich the growth path of Gujarat.

During his one-day visit to Delhi, Patel will also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who attended the swearing-in ceremony in Gandhinagar on September 13.

He will also meet BJP national president JP Nadda and is expected to return to Ahmedabad by late evening the same day.

Taking a sudden step on 11 September, Vijay Rupani resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Gujarat. Subsequently, after two days, Bhupendra Patel was unanimously elected as the new Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Gujarat assembly elections will be held in 2022. The BJP will seek another term in power after being in power in the state for more than 27 years, with Narendra Modi being the longest-serving chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, when he contested the elections. Lok Sabha elections were held and became Prime Minister.
