Varanasi: Rebi Pal, a student of Banaras Hindu University, won a Silver Medal in All India Inter University Women’s Athletics Championships 2021-22. She won the silver in the 3000M Staple Chase event of the All India Inter University Women’s Athletics Championships 2021-22 held at KIIT, Bhubaneswar.
According to the BHU spokesperson, Pal is an international athlete and a student of Arts faculty of Banaras Hindu University (BAII). She is currently undergoing training at Amphitheater Athletics Ground under the supervision of assistant director Dr. Khurshid Ahmed (athletics) and Sai Coach Sanjay Srivastava,
On her feat, the vice president of University Sports Board, BHU, Prof Dinesh Chandra Rai and general secretary Prof Abhimanyu Singh congratulated her.
In international games, she had won silver medal (1500m), Malaysia Grand Prix Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (2019), while in national games she won gold medals (3000m) in 34 National Championship Ranchi (2018), Khelo India Pune (2019), Cross Country (4000m) National Championship Mathura UP (2019), 17th Junior National Championship Tamil Nadu 2019, Junior National Championship 2019 Vijayawada, and 65 School National.
