Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s day 8 earnings worth Rs 9 crore brings the total collection of the film to Rs 167.25 crore.
Making waves at the box office with its impressive performances, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 shows no sign of slowing down as it entered the second weekend of its release on Friday. Starring Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba alongside Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, the film maintained its hold on the 8th day of its release. The film, which ended the first week with a significant box-office collection worth Rs 158.25 crore, earned Rs 9 crore net in India on Friday. This brings the total collection of the film to Rs 167.25 crore.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 comfortably crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in India and is now heading for another milestone to earn over Rs 200 crore in its second week. As for the movie’s collections over the first eight days, here you can take a look: Rs 35.5 crore on Day 1 (Friday), Rs 37 crore on Day 2 (Saturday), Rs 33.5 crore on Day 3 (Sunday), Rs 18 crore on Day 4 (Monday), Rs 14 crore on Day 5 (Tuesday), Rs 10.75 crore on Day 6 (Wednesday), Rs 9.50 crore on Day 7 (Thursday) and Rs 9 crore on Day 8 (Friday). Given the remarkable performance, the film is set to surpass the lifetime box office collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in a couple of days.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released alongside Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor among others.
Kartik Aaryan, the protagonist of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is busy basking in love for his role in the film. Visibly moved by the response to his latest release, the actress has been surprising fans by visiting theatres in Mumbai and Varanasi. On Sunday, the actor made an appearance at the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre. He was also seen attending Ganga Aarti in Varanasi and later arriving at a theatre, indulging in some precious moments with his fans.
In addition to Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Rajesh Sharma and Ashwini Kalselar. The third instalment in the horror-comedy franchise brings back Vidya as the Manjulika after 17 years after Priyadarshan’s 2007 hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar in lead role.
