FSL samples collected from the scene—including blood stains found in the SUV and bones found in the burnt vehicle—were matched with blood samples from Nasir and Junaid’s family members to establish their identities.

The charred bodies and blood-stained SUV recovered from a cow shed in Haryana’s Jind belonged to two abducted Muslim men, Junaid and Nasir, the Forensic Science Laboratory report has confirmed. On February 16, charred bodies of men from Bharatpur in Rajasthan were found inside a vehicle in Haryana’s Bhiwani district.

Bharatpur Range IG Gaurav Srivastava said, “The FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) report has confirmed that the charred bodies and blood-stained SUV recovered from a gau-shala in Jind (Haryana) belonged to Nasir and Junaid.”

The Rajasthan Police official said the burnt vehicle matched the chassis number, but the bodies left inside could not be identified at the time.

FSL samples collected from the spot—including blood stains found in the SUV and bones found in the burnt vehicle—were matched with blood samples from Nasir and Junaid’s family members to establish their identities.

According to the official, the FSL report has now confirmed the identity of both the bodies.

During investigation, the SUV in which the victims were abducted and thrashed was also found in Jind.

The relatives of the deceased allege that the people of Bajrang Dal beat them to death. “Our teams are camping in Haryana and are working closely with the Haryana Police to nab the accused,” he said.
