Ranchi : An Assistant General Manager of Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited was found dead Capitol Hill Hotel under Hindpiri police station area of Ranchi on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Manoj Singh, who was 40 years old. Police said prima facie it appears that the officer died of a heart attack.
his body has been sent Rajendra Institute of Medical Science, Ranchi for an autopsy.
Singh had come to the city from Banaras on Thursday on government work.
On Saturday, one of his companions, who was staying in another room in the same hotel, knocked on his door in the morning, but got no response. He then called his cell phone, but when he did not pick up his phone, the hotel staff broke down the door and found him lying unconscious.
Singh was taken to a local hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
