Japan’s Ken Tanaka, the world’s oldest, has died at the age of 119. He died on 19 April. The government gave this information on Monday. Ken was born on January 2, 1903, in the Fukuoka region of southwest Japan. This year the Wright Brothers took off for the first time and Marie Curie became the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize.
Tanaka was living in the nursing home. There she played board games, solved maths problems and took chocolates and sodas. He did many businesses during his youth. These also include a noodle shop and a rice cake store. She was married to Hideo Tanaka in 1922. They have four children, the fifth they adopted.
16 youtube news channels banned for spreading fake news, 6 Pakistani channels also included; accused of inciting communal violence
The government has banned 16 YouTube news channels spreading fake news. Of these 16 channels, 10 are Indian and 6 Pakistani YouTube news channels. It is alleged that these YouTube channels were spreading fake news to create panic and incite communal violence in India. These YouTube channels were watched by more than 68 crore people in India.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has said that a community has been shown as terrorist in these YouTube news channels. Along with this, the content dividing the unity of the country was shown. Fake content was also present on these channels regarding Corona, while wrong information was given on many issues like Russia-Ukraine war.
Jignesh Mevani got bail from the court, was arrested for tweeting against PM Modi
Gujarat’s independent MLA Jignesh Mevani has been granted bail by an Assam court. Jignesh is accused of tweeting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Petition against removal of 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Supreme Court agrees to hear in July
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the petition filed against the abrogation of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. CJI NV Ramana said that he will consider setting up of a 5-judge Constitution Bench after the summer vacations i.e. in July to hear the petitions related to 370.
