A fire broke out at Atlantis Banquet Hall on GT Karnal Road in Delhi on Tuesday evening. As soon as the information was received, 12 fire tenders of the fire brigade reached there and brought the fire under control. A Beckett Hall employee died in the incident. His body was found in burnt condition. The incident is of Ashok Vihar area. The fire was reported at 5.47 pm. At the time of the incident no event was taking place in the banquet hall.

The fire started near the stage on the ground floor. After that reached all the floors. Hall’s manager Harsh Chopra got stuck on the first floor. He fainted because of the smoke. He was immediately sent to the hospital. Where doctors declared him brought dead. It is not yet clear what caused the fire.
