Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, 3 Lashkar terrorists killed
In Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, 3 terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists since Saturday evening. Security forces surrounded the area after receiving information about 2-3 terrorists hiding in Drabgam area of Pulwama. One terrorist was gunned down late on Saturday night, while the other two were killed in the action on Sunday morning.
According to IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, all the terrorists killed were locals and were associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. One of them has been identified as Junaid Shirgojri, who was involved in the murder of constable Shaheed Riyaz Ahmed on May 13.
The other two terrorists have been identified as Fazil Nazir Bhat and Irfan Malik from Pulwama district. Ammunition including two AK-47 rifles and a pistol were also recovered from the spot.
Hand grenade found in Yamuna Khadar area of South Delhi, bomb squad defused
A hand grenade was found late Saturday night in the southern Yamuna Khadar area of the capital Delhi.
