On Monday, 8 cities of Madhya Pradesh were included in the hottest 17 cities of the country. There is going to be a scorching heat in Madhya Pradesh this time. According to the Meteorological Center Bhopal, this time the temperature can go up to 2-3 degrees above average in summer. The maximum heat will be in Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Khandwa, Khargone and Burhanpur.

According to the estimates of the international website ‘Weather25’, there will be about 19 days in the coming four months in MP, when the temperature can go up to 45 degrees or more. According to the study done by meteorologists, due to more heat, this time the number of days of heat wave can also increase in April, May and June.

Summer Chic in Gwalior- In the last 7 years, there was a heat wave in Gwalior for 81 days.

Stay in the chic of summer in Gwalior. In summer, the mood of Gwalior weather is a bit harsher than the three big cities of the state, Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur. In the last seven years, there was a heat wave in Gwalior for 81 days. Even if we add the figures of the remaining three big cities Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur together, they cannot stand in front of Gwalior in the case of heat wave. In seven years, the heat wave could last only 78 days in these three cities.

Why will it be hot? some reason for this

  1. Western Disturbance remained weak over North India. This time summer has come early.
  2. The state is heated by dry and hot air coming from Rajasthan and Gujarat.
  3. If there is an anti-cyclone somewhere in and around the state, then the temperature starts increasing even more.

the days of heat will increase

  • This time it is getting record heat since March. The first fortnight of April, May and June may also experience more heat. The number of days of heat stroke may increase. Shailendra Kumar Nayak, meteorologist
  • This time in summer the temperature can go up to 2-3 degrees above the average. Relief from this heat can be given only when no low pressure system will form in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. In between, there will be heat wave conditions till June. This time summer has started early in North India due to weak Western Disturbance. The maximum heat will remain in Gwalior-Chambal region. Mamta Yadav, Director Incharge, Regional Meteorological Center, Bhopal
