In Himachal Pradesh, by-elections were held for three Vidhan Sabha and one Lok Sabha seat. Counting of votes will take place on November 2. Dainik Bhaskar has conducted the exit polls of these seats to know the mood of the voters in all the areas. According to the poll, Congress is headed for victory in two assembly seats and there is a tough fight in Mandi Lok Sabha seat.

The vote of sympathy in Arki seat can cross the lines of Congress. Chetan Bragta, who is contesting the elections in Jubbal-Kotkhai as a rebel from the BJP, has made the path of the saffron party difficult. The Fatehpur seat has been a Congress stronghold and the BJP is also battling infighting here. The toughest competition is in Mandi Lok Sabha seat where Congress can get the benefit of inflation issue, but BJP candidate and Kargil Hero Brigadier Khushal Singh can also make a difference here. There are many other factors due to which the path of the ruling party has become difficult in all these seats and the equations seem to be turning in favor of Congress. Let’s take a look at these factors…

Mandi parliamentary seat: Voters are vocal on inflation

In Mandi parliamentary constituency of Himachal Pradesh, there is a close fight between BJP and Congress. There are 17 assembly constituencies in the parliamentary constituency. Voting here was also much less than expected. This shocked everyone, even the youth did not come forward to cast their vote. The youth and people of Mandi are also speaking openly about inflation. In such a situation, if people would have voted against inflation, unemployment, then problems will arise for the BJP candidate.

Pratibha can get sympathy votes, but…

Pratibha Singh of Congress was the Chief Minister of the state for 6 times, her husband Late. The name of Virbhadra Singh can get a lot of sympathy votes. Despite this, his road to victory is not easy. He can definitely get leads from Manali, Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur, Rampur, Karsog. However, being the home district of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, there may be a setback in Mandi. Out of the 17 assembly constituencies in the parliamentary constituency, 8 are the strongholds of the BJP. From here, BJP’s candidate Brigadier Khushal Thakur can get a big lead. Siraj is the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He also campaigned during this election that the market is ours and no one can snatch it from us. Home from whom the Chief Minister can get support. However, both the parties are claiming their respective victories in this match of thorny competition.

Arki: Difficult for BJP surrounded in factionalism

In Arki assembly constituency, voter’s sympathy is towards Congress candidate Sanjay Awasthi. The road is not easy for BJP here also because after giving ticket to Ratan Singh Pal, the ticket contender Govind Ram Sharma got angry here. Although there is a war between Brahmanism and 2 princely states in Arki. If Awasthi is successful in garnering caste votes, the BJP cadre can also go to his account. According to the way the polling has been done, Awasthi seems to be in profit. Along with this, former Chief Minister Mr. This seat fell vacant on the death of Virbhadra Singh. In such a situation, Congress can get sympathy vote in his name also. At the same time, angry Govind Ram did not ask for votes in favor of the BJP candidate even during the campaign. In such a situation, people associated with him can also be diverted towards the Congress candidate.

Fatehpur: Angry camp will divide BJP

Fatehpur assembly constituency of Kangra district has been a Congress stronghold. The seat fell vacant after the death of Congress’ Sujan Singh Pathania. The Congress fielded his son Bhavani Singh Pathania from the assembly seat to seek sympathy votes. At the same time, BJP angered the other camp by giving ticket to Baldev Thakur. Here too the situation became similar to Arki’s and the BJP ticket contender refused to seek votes for the party’s candidate. Voting has also increased here and due to the equations made, the path of Congress candidate Bhawani Singh Pathania is looking easy.

Jubbal Kotkhai: Revolt will be heavy for BJP

Jubbal Kotkhai remains the hottest seat in the by-elections of Himachal Pradesh. Chetan Bragta, who rebelled against the party here, has become a problem for the BJP. He has tried his best to mobilize his base as an independent candidate. In such a situation, the problem has increased for BJP’s candidate Neelam Saraik and Congress’s Rohit Thakur. The biggest equation is being made here that the BJP’s vote bank has been divided due to the departure of Bragta and it is going directly in favor of Rohit Thakur of Congress. However, when Chetan makes a dent in the Congress vote bank at his own level, his relief becomes easy. The way the bumper voting has taken place in the assembly constituency, alarm bells have rung for both the big political parties.
