And now, as per the latest development around the project, composer GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the music of Sigappu Rojakkal 2. It is reported that Kumar had discussed the film with Bharathiraja and that Bharathiraja’s son Manoj may debut as a director with the project. However, the names of the director and cast of the film are still under wraps.

Manoj has acted in many movies but none of them established him as a successful actor. He then turned to direction and assisted S Shankar as the director of the second unit for the Rajinikanth-starrer Enthiran. After that Manoj also assisted his father on the sets of many films. Viewers are excited to see Manoj’s directorial skills in the sequel of Sigappu Rojakkal.
Sigappu Rojakkal is the story of a serial killer who hates women because of his past experiences. The film depicts the main character going on a killing spree, brutally killing women. The film was a huge hit and earned Kamal Haasan the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Bharathiraja won the Filmfare Award for Best Director.
Talking about Kumar, he is a talented musician as well as a brilliant actor. On the work front, he has several projects lined up. He will be a part of the film Ketta Payanda Indha Karthi. The film will be directed by debutant Shankar Guna. Kumar will also be seen in films like KD Billa Kiladi Ranga 2, Kadhalika Yarumillai and Kadhalai Thedi Nitya Nanda.
