Additional Chief Secretary A. Venu Prasad took stock of the preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Khatkar Kalan on Monday.

Congress leader Alka Lamba took to Twitter to expose the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He shared the Punjab government’s order that the Revenue and Rehabilitation Department has been asked to allocate Rs 2.61 crore to the Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar for arranging the mega function.

Mann, in an appeal, urged people to reach Khatkar Kalan for the swearing-in ceremony on March 16. Mann said in a video message, “I request my brothers to wear ‘Basanti’ (yellow) turban on that day and sisters to wear yellow shawls/stole. We will paint Khatkar Kalan in ‘Basanti Rang’ on that day.”

AAP had won the election by winning 92 seats out of 117.
