Actress Neha Pendse tests positive for Covid-19

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Neha Pendse tested positive for coronavirus and took to social media on Tuesday to confirm the same. She wrote in her Instagram story section, “After dodging the virus for 2 years, unfortunately, I have caught it. The results are positive. I am in home quarantine. Haven’t stepped out or met anyone for the past few days. Being an introvert can be helpful at times.”
On the work front, the actress recently won the Best Actress Award at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) for her Marathi film ‘June’. In the film, her character is coping with the sorrows of her past, while she meets an engineer who is also carrying a burden from her past. Their bond and journey is the crux of the film. Talking to News18.com about the award for her role, she says that she feels grounded as that is the recognition she has been waiting for.
“Instead of being elated, I feel very grounded because I think this is the recognition I’ve wanted for the longest time. I wanted my identity as an actor to go beyond my beauty and when You achieve that purpose, with the recognition of an award, you feel that all the hard work is worth it. There is more to me than my beautiful face and there is nothing that was not discovered. That’s exactly what made me Said yes to June,” he told us.
Meanwhile, several other celebrities have recently tested positive for COVID-19 including Mithila Palkar, Sussanne Khan and renowned singer Lata Mangeshkar.
