Bengaluru Airhostess Falls From Highrise, Dies, Techie Live-In Partner Arrested

Three days after the airhostess died after falling from the balcony of the fourth floor of an apartment building, the police arrested her lover and registered a murder case against him. Police said on Monday that a conspiracy has been unearthed in the investigation into his death in Bengaluru. The incident of the air hostess, who had gone to Bengaluru to meet her boyfriend and then jumped to death from her apartment under suspicious circumstances, was reported on March 11. According to the police, they are treating it as a case of murder.

Police sources said though initially it appeared to be a suicide, there is enough reason to believe that it is a murder. His friend Adesh was in the flat at the time of the incident and had informed the police. But there is no information available about what happened between them that night. The police is scanning the CCTV footage.

The incident took place on Friday midnight in the premises of Renuka Residency in Koramangala area. Archana, 28, was a resident of Himachal Pradesh. He had allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of the apartment. Preliminary investigation revealed that she worked for a reputed airline. She had come from Dubai to meet her software professional friend Adesh.

Aadesh was a resident of Kerala and worked in Bengaluru. Police say that both were in love for many years. Archana’s body has been shifted to St John’s Hospital.
