West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday sacked Partha Chatterjee as minister from the state cupboard after he was arrested for his alleged involvement within the West Bengal SSC recruitment rip-off. Chatterjee was the schooling minister when the alleged irregularities occurred. Chatterjee, nevertheless, continues to stay the final secretary of the Trinamool Congress.
