The look was designed by Daniele Roseberry, Creative Director at Schiaparelli and was showcased at the recently concluded Paris Haute Couture Week. Through this collection, Daniels wanted to honor the potential and power of the art form by returning to the fashion she loved in her youth. “Blind nostalgia isn’t healthy: We can’t romanticize the past, especially since for so many groups of people, the past wasn’t romantic at all. But the gift of fashion is its ability to allow us to pretend, and that’s it. There’s also promise; if we dream enough, maybe we can bring that beautiful past into existence.”
And the supermodel did complete justice to the look. The long-sleeved dress in a wool crepe had a low-cut neckline, and a gilded brass necklace in the shape of a trompe l’il lung adorned with rhinestones completed her look.
She tied her hair in a sleek high bun with curl details. The model looked statuesque from every angle as she posed for the Potogs and made sure that the shutterbugs captured her every move as she walked down the red carpet.
Her face was well contoured and she opted for winged eyeliner with a black and gold look. Purple earrings joined her outfit and she painted her nails with black polish.
To recreate this killer look by Schiaparelli, all you need is a black scoop neck dress and a similar accessory in gold from the designer label. Style your hair in a sleek high bun and complete your look with winged eyeliner and viola.
