Jaipur : High hopes Rajasthan Rajasthan Cabinet reshuffle speeds up with three ministers of Ashok Gehlot government submitting their resignations to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Politician in charge of Rajasthan, Ajay Make, said Friday night.
The three people who have resigned are state school education minister and PCC president Govind Singh Dotasara, health minister and AICC in-charge. Gujarat Raghu Sharma and Revenue Minister and AICC in-charge Punjab Harish Chowdhary, Dotasara is a junior minister, while Sharma and Choudhary are state cabinet ministers.
The three resignations increase the vacancies in the Gehlot cabinet to 12. The maximum number in the state cabinet is 30, which is a 15% cap for the 200-member state assembly. Maken’s unannounced visit to Jaipur indicated that a cabinet reshuffle is likely in the next few days. Governor Kalraj Mishra is currently in his home state of Uttar Pradesh and is scheduled to return on Saturday afternoon.
