Punjabi singer and actor Jassi Gill is celebrating his 33rd birthday today. The singer is popular not only in Punjabi cinema but also in Bollywood. Gill has a huge fan following among the youth.
Gill made his acting debut Bollywood 2018 romantic comedy-drama, Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi, opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
He later impressed the audience with his performance in the sports drama Panga. He played the role of Kangana Ranaut’s husband Prashant in the film.
Many of you might not know that Jassi Gill’s real name is Jasdeep Singh Gill. He struggled a lot for 3 years before he became successful in his singing and acting career. Gill once revealed that he used to work in a car wash company during his stay in Australia.
Born in a Jat family in Jandli village near Khanna in Punjab’s Ludhiana district, Gill was interested in music since childhood.
In 2011, venturing into the Punjabi music industry, Gill released his debut album Batchmate, and then in 2012, he released his single Vigre Sharabi. In January 2013, Gill rose to fame with the release of Lancer which became a superhit. And after the success of the song, he gave many superhits including Bapu Jimidaar, Laden, Gabru and Nakhre.
Gill is active on several social media platforms but has never shared much about his personal life, except for some cute pictures and videos with his daughter Rujas Kaur Gill and wife.
