Russell to join Melbourne Stars for Big Bash League

Big Bash League (BBL) side Melbourne Stars on Wednesday announced that West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell will join the squad for the current season of the league.
Russell, who has been signed to play five matches, will be the fifth overseas signing for the Stars this season after Kais Ahmed, Joe Clarke, Syed Faridoun and Haris Rauf. Russell displayed his all-rounder prowess in the BBL, turning out for the Thunder in three seasons from 2014 to 2017.
