Big Bash League (BBL) side Melbourne Stars on Wednesday announced that West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell will join the squad for the current season of the league.

Russell, who has been signed to play five matches, will be the fifth overseas signing for the Stars this season after Kais Ahmed, Joe Clarke, Syed Faridoun and Haris Rauf.
