On the call of NFIR, in the campaign against privatization and corporatisation, being run from September 13 to 18, a rally was organized by the Baran branch of West Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh. A rally was taken out from the branch office to the station premises. The rally was led by the West Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh, Kota Division’s sub-divisional secretary Anil Kumar Saini, in which there was a strong protest with slogans like privatization dead, NPS cancel.
Saini told that the Government of India is intent on privatizing the railways, this government has sold many earning institutions of the country to the corporations, adopting the same policy, has prepared to give the railways in private hands, but NFIR is the only railway. There is such an organization of employees which is wholeheartedly opposing this privatization.
Saini said that even during the Corona period, our railway employees have run the rail smoothly without caring for their lives, so the government should pay bonus to our railway workers by removing the celling limit. The program was also addressed by branch secretary Bablu Mahawar. Mahawar said that the arrear installments of dearness allowance should be paid immediately by the railways and railway employees should be given the benefit of old pension. Hundreds of railway employees including Branch Treasurer Phool Singh Meena, Bholaram, Dinesh Gurjar, Dhara Singh Tikaram Dharamlal Jitender participated in the program.
