Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd to cut down metro services for maintenance work.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will carry out structural maintenance work on the Purple Line between Trinity and Halasuru metro stations, thereby reducing Metro train services on the line from 4 pm on Saturday.

The statement issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer of BMRCL said, “To facilitate the works, Metro train services on Purple Line between Baiyappanahalli and MG Road Metro stations will be cut from 4 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Sunday. “

However, during this period, Metro trains between MG Road and Kengeri Metro stations, on the Purple Line, will continue to run as scheduled, the press statement read.

It said that Metro services on the Green Line and the entire Purple Line will run as per schedule on October 9 and 10.
