AK Rahman, who has previously worked in TV shows like Balika Vadhu and Tujh Sang Preet Laga Sajna, is all set to shine in the upcoming OTT show. The highly acclaimed and popular anchor, who is also an actor, has signed a new web show. While the details about the same have been kept secret, Rahman revealed that his character has got a gray complexion. Comparing the character with a chameleon, Rahman says that it lets him play all kinds of colors like the good, the bad and the ugly.
AK Rahman has previously worked in a film titled Un Hazaaron Ke Naam apart from his stint on television. Now with the upcoming OTT show, he is returning as an actor after a long time and is feeling excited about it.
Rahman is also preparing to make it big as a singer. He has trained under eminent guitarist and pianist Pushpak, who has in the past worked with stalwarts like Laxmikant Pyarelal and modern pop music artists like Pritam. Together they are coming up with a song which will be released in the next few months.
Meanwhile, as an anchor and MC, AK Rahman has been active for 17 years now and has done 3000 shows in 79 countries. He has hosted events for brands like Samsung, Apple, Toyota, HDFC, Sony and Nestle to name a few.
Talking about his love for anchoring, Rahman had earlier said, “The stage is where my heart is. Every time I go on stage, I discover a new version of myself because I connect with different people on different occasions. This feeling is real when you get more love in return than you expected. When you love something, do it with all your heart and give your 100 percent. I never thought that I would come this far but things changed when I started pouring in a lot of creativity and in return, I got a standing ovation from my audience every time which is the biggest prize of my life.
