New Delhi: Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen sharing the screen for the first time in the upcoming family drama ‘Badhaai Do’. Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, ‘Badhaai Do’ is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in lead roles.
The makers of ‘Badhaai Do’ have finally released the first motion poster of the Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer. Bhumi Pednekar also shared the motion poster and wrote on Instagram, “Out of the closet in just 1 day! Congratulations trailer tomorrow #BadhaaiDoInCinemas”.

The makers also revealed that the trailer of this much-awaited flick will release tomorrow (January 25, 2022). Rajkummar Rao announced it on his Instagram, “Kal aa raha hai hamara trailer. If you want to congratulate tomorrow, you can give it the same way today. #BadhaaiDoInCinemas Can’t keep it a secret anymore, Congratulations trailer out tomorrow! #BadhaaiDoInCinemas”.
‘Badhaai Do’ is jointly written by Suman Adhikari and Akshat Ghildiyal. Rajkummar Rao will be seen playing the role of a policeman and Bhumi Pednekar will portray the role of a physical education teacher. The film also stars Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, Shashi Bhushan and Chum Darang in pivotal roles.
The release date of ‘Badhaai Do’ will be announced along with the trailer of the film.
