On Thursday, 530 students were found to be infected with the novel coronavirus in antigen tests conducted before returning to school after Sukot’s holiday.
About 600,000 parents reported to the Ministry of Education online that they had done antigen tests on their children before returning to school, and about 40,000 children were exempted from the need for antigen testing.
