New Delhi: As soon as the Maharashtra government announced the reopening of cinemas in the state, excited makers and filmmakers started announcing the release dates of their upcoming films. Earlier today, Yash Raj Films announced the release dates of its upcoming 4 films – ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Shamshera’. Also, ’83’ and ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ will hit the theaters this Christmas and next year’s Valentine’s Day respectively.
Now, another producer, Sajid Nadiadwala has announced the release dates of his upcoming films – ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Heropanti 2’ and ‘Tadap’. While Akshay Kumar-Kriti Sanon starter ‘Bachchan Pandey’ will hit the theaters on March 4, 2022, Tiger Shroff-Tara Sutaria’s ‘Heropanti 2’ will hit the theaters on May 6, 2022. Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is also fully prepared for this. He made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Tadap, where he will be seen opposite Tara Sutaria. Tadap is all set to hit the screens on December 3, 2021.
Film critic Taran Adarsh shared the release dates on his Twitter and wrote, “CONFIRMED… #SajidNadiadwala announces the release date of his films… #Tadap: 3rd December 2021 #BachchanPandey: 4th March 2022 #Heropanti 2: 6th May 2022”.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor also announced the release of his upcoming sports drama ‘Jersey’ which will hit the theaters on December 31, 2021. Sharing the update on his social media, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor wrote, “Jersey releasing in cinemas on December 31st, 2021.”
On a related note, ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ will hit the big screens on November 19, 2021. Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ will release on January 21, 2022, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ will release on February 25, 2022, and Ranbir Kapoor-Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Shamshera’ will release on March 18, 2022.
