Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana’s father Pandit P Khurana breathed his last on May 19 at a private hospital in Mohali.
Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana performed the last rites of their father and renowned astrologer Pandit P Khurrana on Friday evening. Pictures of the same have now surfaced on social media.
P Khurana breathed his last at a private hospital in Mohali today. Reportedly, P Khurana was unwell for the last few days. “It is with our deep sadness to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana’s father, astrologer P Khurrana passed away today at 10:30 am in Mohali due to a prolonged incurable illness. “We are indebted to all of your prayers and support during this time of personal loss,” Aparshakti’s spokesperson said in a statement.
Several members of the film fraternity also consoled Ayushmann and Aparshakti’s father. “Deepest condolences to @ayushmannk for his loss. (folded hands emoji) Parents are parents and their loss is always felt on a deep level. wrote Suniel Shetty. Among others, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ajay Devgn also wished strength to the family.
Ayushmann Khurrana often shares pictures with his parents on social media. In an earlier post, the actor showered love on his father and referred to him as his ‘friend’. “We got it from him. Discipline. Love for music, poetry, films and art. He studied law but was always interested in astrology. That’s the reason for the double ns and double rs in my name.
