Kovid in India: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the health system is prepared to handle the growth of Kovid.

as the nation fights third wave of pandemic Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today said that in the wake of the fast-spreading Omron version, the Center has asked the Health Ministry to integrate the Ministry of AYUSH to augment the resources in the fight against COVID-19.
The Department of AYUSH has also launched an Ayurvedic kit – “Ayuraksha Kit” – consisting of Chyawanprash, Sanshamani Vati, Anu Tell and Ayush Kada – to improve immunity and keep people healthy.
The Union AYUSH Minister said that as the country is witnessing another spurt in COVID-19 infections, the health system is ready to meet the challenge. He told that the Ministry of AYUSH is working closely with them. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and aims to maximize the efficacy of drugs by complementing each other.
He said that there are several evidence-based interventions for the management and treatment of COVID-19 in time-tested AYUSH systems.
Mr. Sonowal also advised people to do regular yoga and take healthy AYUSH diet. He said that the Ministry of AYUSH is closely monitoring the situation and issuing relevant guidelines.
