Vishva Hindu Parishad leaders’ statement on Ram Mandir

According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sharad Sharma, the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple will be made of red stones, which “will be very auspicious”.

“As per the trust, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be ready by January 2024 (Makar Sankranti), where the idol of Lord Ram will be placed and people will throng in large numbers to offer prayers,” he said.

Acharya Satyendra Das, the head priest of the Ram temple, has said that the temple is being constructed in such a way that the first rays of the sun fall on the idol of Lord Rama.

“The devotees are expecting a huge and beautiful temple. The temple is being constructed in such a way that when the sun rises, the first ray falls on the idol of Lord Rama,” he said.

Acharya said, “The sanctum sanctorum is being built with red stone. To give peace to the people, red stones are being installed.”

The construction of the temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya is going on in full swing.

On August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of Ram temple and since then the construction work of the temple is going on.

A five-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi (now retired), had on November 9, 2019, unanimously ruled that the land where the Babri Masjid was located in Ayodhya belonged to Ram Lalla.
