From time to time we come across apps that contain malware. Seven Android The apps have now been found to carry the Joker malware. Out of these, 50,000 users have downloaded the EmojiOne keyboard app.

Now, luckily, apart from the EmojiOne keyboard app, neither had a significant number of downloads. Malicious apps were first detected by an Android malware analyst here Kaspersky, who said the apps were being used to spread the Joker malware. The analyst took to Twitter to warn about these seven apps. An analyst named Tatyana Shishkova is highlighting a stream of malware-laden Android apps on the Google Play Store.

Users are strictly advised to download apps from external sources other than Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
