Kanpur: As a part of the ongoing initiative with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Femina Spark launched a workshop on Financial Literacy and Soft Skills at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT), Kanpur on 29 November.
More than 300 women participated in the workshop organized by Praveen Kumar Dwivedi, Trainer of AWOKE India Group, Knowledge Partner of Femina Spark.
One participant, Sukriti Shukla, said she learned to make money from smart investing, while another participant, Ayushi Agnihotri, spoke about her newfound desire to take calculated risks by investing in the stock market.
Shefali Raj, Managing Director, PSIT said, “Mission Shakti, a sustained effort by our government, has a massive impact on the youth of UP. These workshops will create awareness, a sense of self-confidence among women.”
Femina has joined hands with the Uttar Pradesh government to highlight the powerful stories of its fearless women leaders and idol-breakers to inspire women and spread awareness about women’s safety and dignity.
