Atlanta teens dreaming of making music with the help of a non-profit organization – The Henry Club

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) – A wonderful boost for Atlanta teens who dream of becoming famous music producers and creatives. If they can show that they are responsible and ready to reveal their potential, they get A-list help for free!

“When I met him, I knew this kid was special,” said music producer Will Hodge, “Willie Will.”

Given the right support, a 13-year-old Atlanta is in control of his future.

“The nonprofit is called Reaching Early Creatives. It is for students aged 13-18,” Hodge said.

“I love making music. I love the creativity of it. I love being in the studio. It’s fun to see rappers rapping to your beats and hear what they can come up with,” said 13-year-old Tamaz Pullen.

Music is the vehicle.

“He’s a treasure. He’s one of those things, that, they don’t come with much,” Hodge said.

Music runs in Tamaz Pullen’s blood. His uncle is a famous music producer, Honorable CNOTE

Tamaz’s mentors believe the 13-year-old is doing something different. They also know they need support. Then Will stepped in.

“I spoke at a few churches and his mother caught wind,” Hodge said.

Will has started a project called Reaching Early Creatives.

“My mission was to provide underserved youth the tools they need to reach their full creative potential; Just using music as a vehicle to do that,” Hodge said.

The organization was built into what was music to Will as a child.

“It saved my life. Being from the inner city, a lot of my friends were doing things they shouldn’t. Between church and music, it saved my life. It kept me out of bad situations,” Hodge said. Told. Said, ‘I keep my feet on the ground in the society. I go to churches. I visit schools.”

The kids have to write an essay about why they want to be on the show and Will will take it from there.

“All the important stuff with engineering, mixing, really helps my creativity, all that… for free,” Pullen said.

It is a program for creative, hardworking, young, dreamers.
