AAP Declares New Delhi CM: After Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation on September 15, AAP’s Atishi Singh has now been chosen to be the New CM of Delhi.

Atishi’s name was proposed by Kejriwal himself in AAP’s legislative meeting and all the MLAs from the Aam Aadmi Party accepted his decision.

As per media reports, Atishi is expected to take oath during a special Assembly Election, which will be held on 26 and 27 September.

Kejriwal was granted bail last week in the excise policy case. Soon after coming out of jail, Kejriwal announced his resignation on September 15. As per reports the chosen CM candidate, Atishi is considered very close to CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

Currently, Atishi is the women’s Minister of Delhi, but she handles various key ministries like finance, education, public works department revenues, and services.
