The Eastern Naval Command and GVMC are planning to perform the laser show at the Sea Memorial every week.

A fascinating laser show happened at the Victory at Sea Memorial on RK Beach Road in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. According to Local 18 Telugu, this laser show happened to commemorate the war victories of the Eastern Naval Command and the Indian Navy. The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation organised this show in association with the Eastern Naval Command. This laser show impressed everyone.

Greater Vishakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Commissioner P Sampath said that this show was organised on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam so that tourists and locals could see it. The Eastern Naval Command and GVMC are planning to perform the laser show at the Sea Memorial every week. As per the GVMC commissioner, the wonderful achievements that happened in history will be presented to Visakhapatnam natives and tourists every week through a laser show in English and Telugu.

The accomplishments of the Indian Navy in 1971 and the obstacles faced by the people are being witnessed through this laser show. The show explains to the people how the Indian Navy used to operate in the past and how many victories it has achieved so far. Most of the tourists and city dwellers arrived at Visakhapatnam on September 9, evening in the evening to witness the laser show. The GVMC commissioner P Sampath said that this show will instill a patriotic feeling and knowledge in the natives who arrive at Visakhapatnam.

Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam Rajesh Pendharkar also talked about this laser show. Rajesh said that the Eastern Naval Command’s victories will be displayed on the Victory at Sea Memorial Stupa in the coastal area of Visakhapatnam through this laser show. As per Rajesh, the audience will get to know how the Navy operated in the past when they had less technological equipment. Now, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief said that they will show how the detailed procedures of the Indian Navy. He requested everyone to come and watch this show.

In the laser show, there were many mesmerising visuals of the 1971 war depicted on the memorial which looked an interesting sight to watch. The memorial was lit with pictures of helicopters, the Indian flag, etc.
