Mumbai: Noted producer Madhu Mantena is all set to tie the knot with author and yoga teacher Ira Trivedi on June 11. On Saturday, the couple started the wedding rituals with a mehendi ceremony where several B-town celebs marked their presence. Actor Aamir Khan was also included in the celebs who reached the ceremony.
Aamir was seen posing in front of the pap standing outside the venue. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor was seen in casuals. He was wearing an olive green T-shirt with blue jeans and black shoes. He completed his look with reading glasses.
Madhu was the producer of Aamir’s action thriller film Ghajini, which released in the year 2008 and also starred Asin in the lead. Actor Hrithik Roshan also arrived in traditional attire for the ceremony. He wore a burgundy Nehru coat over a white kurta pajama. He was seen posing in front of the paparazzi.
Apart from him, actor Rajkumar Rao also arrived in traditional attire with his wife Patralekha at the Mehendi ceremony. The couple was seen twinning in silver outfits.
Patralekhaa looked beautiful in a silver embroidered suit and tied her hair in a ponytail. She kept her make-up heavy and was seen carrying a white purse. The ‘Stree’ actor, on the other hand, wore a traditional silver ensemble. Producers Madhu Mantena and Ira Trivedi were seen posing for the shutterbugs. For the ceremony, Mantena chose an off-white kurta pajama while Ira looked gorgeous in a pink lehenga.
She kept her hair open and accessorised her look with heavy jewellery. Producer Nikhil Dwivedi arrived with his wife Gauri Pandit and was seen posing in front of his father. Nikhil opted for a white T-shirt teamed with off-white pants while his wife looked beautiful in a yellow traditional outfit.
The couple is all set to tie the knot on June 11 in Mumbai. If reports are to be believed then both will tie the knot in ISKCON temple. Hours after becoming husband and wife, Madhu and Ira will host a wedding reception for their friends and members of the film industry.
Madhu was earlier married to fashion designer Masaba. They got married in 2015. However, the couple decided to separate and got divorced in 2019. Masaba, on the other hand, tied the knot with actor Satyadeep Mishra in January.
Masaba shared a few pictures on Instagram, which she captioned, “Married my ocean of peace this morning. Here’s to a lifetime of love, peace, stability and most importantly laughter. And thank you for letting me choose the caption – this would be great!”
Before Masaba, he was in a relationship with actor Nandana Sen. Madhu has produced films like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Ugly’ and ‘Queen’. If reports are to be believed, he is currently working on a film based on the epic Ramayana, which will be directed by ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari. An official announcement regarding the film is still awaited. While Ira is a writer as well as a yoga expert. His Instagram is flooded with posts on fitness.
