Asus: Asus to host #WomenInEsports tournament – Times of India

Asus The Republic of Gamers (ROG) of India is hosting an all-women ROG Showdown online tournament on #WomenInEsports – Valorant, ahead of International Women’s Day. The winning team will get Rs 50,000 and the first runner up will get Rs 25,000. With this initiative, Asus India It aims to celebrate the growing gender diversity in the realm of e-sports. To kick-start this tournament, ASUS India is inviting women professional teams and esports enthusiasts from across South East Asia to participate and look forward to seeing more participants be a part of this exciting playing experience. give importance to together as a team.
The upcoming 3-day #WomenInEsports tournament is all set to begin with:
Qualifiers – 7th and 8th March
Semi finals – 9 March
Grand Finale – 10 March

Asus said in a release that several teams have expressed keen interest to participate with members belonging to different geographies including India, Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam. To name a few base invitations, VLT x Asteria and Lethal Esports Blue are some of the popular teams that have already signed up for such a tournament.
