Meghalaya Elections 2023: BJP President JP Nadda on Tuesday asserted that his party will do everything possible to make Meghalaya corruption-free.

claiming that India BJP President JP Nadda, who is moving ahead on many fronts under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said on Tuesday that the country today is not a taker but a giver.

Appreciating the country’s healthcare sector, he said that in the past it used to take years for countries to prepare vaccines, but India developed the vaccine for COVID-19 within a span of a few months.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has sent corona virus Provided vaccines to 100 countries, free of cost to 48 countries. Addressing a rally in Jhalupara area, Nadda said, India today is not a taker but a giver.

He recalled how in the past Japanese vaccines took years to reach India.

“Earlier, it used to take years to come up with medicines and vaccines for diseases like chickenpox and polio. However, India, during the COVID-19 pandemic, developed the vaccine in a few months,” he said.

The BJP president also said that “US President Joe Biden still wears a mask in America”, while 130 crore Indians roam around safely without a mask.

Nadda also said that once upon a time developed countries like Japan and America dominated the automobile market, but today India stands third in manufacturing and exporting vehicles.

Praising Modi, Nadda said that India is also making a lot of progress in the telecom sector. “The day is not far when ‘Made in India’ will be written on top brands like iPhone,” he said.

All the northeastern states under the NDA government have seen “phenomenal development” in the last 8 years, he said, adding that Rs 9 lakh crore has been invested in boosting infrastructure.

“Meghalaya has its own history and culture, the state is trying to walk on the path of development. Every north-eastern state is in the race to bring more development.

“In this competition, it is our endeavor to ensure that all states move forward,” he added.

Nadda insisted that his party would do whatever it takes to make Meghalaya corruption-free.

Urging people to vote for state party president Ernest Mowry, who is contesting from West Shillong constituency, Nadda said, “If Meghalaya has to be a corruption-free state, you have to ensure that all BJP candidates emerge victorious.” ” Nadda is going to release BJP’s election manifesto on Wednesday.

Meghalaya will go to polls on February 27. The counting of votes will take place on March 2.
