However, when the verdict came and the punishment was done, the relatives were convinced that the case was not false. Now everyone believes that Asaram was a hypocrite.
There was an attack before the verdict
The victim’s father tells about the attack on the family that when the case was registered, the whole family was terrified. It is a matter of time before the verdict comes. He was returning home after witnessing from Jodhpur in a car with his wife. Two security personnel were also there. In Dausa district, some people collided with a container near the toll tax. There was minor injury. Dausa ASP Pahar Singh Rajput had helped a lot.
Asaram has an ashram in Shahjahanpur. There is always silence in it. This ashram has been built on the land of the victim’s father. He had given the land.
‘God bless, Asaram should not get bail even from the High Court’
On Asaram’s bail, the father told that my lawyer PC Solanki has raised an objection in the High Court. Whatever God wills will happen. After the registration of the case, the Rajasthan government, the police and my lawyer have got the maximum support.
Worshiping Asaram was the biggest mistake
The victim’s father describes having faith in Asaram as his biggest mistake. On 07 August 2013, he got a call on his mobile from Asaram Gurukul Ashram in Madhya Pradesh. Warden Shilpi had told the victim to be brought to the Manai Ashram in Jodhpur for treatment by telling the shadow of a ghost. On the evening of August 14, he had also reached Jodhpur with his wife and daughter.
Asaram raped in the name of treatment
On the night of August 15 and 16, 2013, Asaram had spoken of performing rituals for treatment. The victim’s parents were asked to meditate outside the hut and the minor victim himself was locked up in the hut. During this, the victim was raped. He was threatened with death if he raised the noise. On returning home, the victim had told about the rape.
The victim’s family went on the second day itself, but Asaram was not found.
On the night of 18 August 2013, the victim’s family went to Delhi to meet Asaram with their daughter. Asaram’s henchmen stopped the meeting. Asaram turned away from Delhi. The victim’s family lodged a complaint with the Kamla Market police station in Delhi for the FIR at night. On August 20, 2013, along with rape, a case was registered under other sections. Was sentenced to life imprisonment on 25 April 2018.
