She was speaking to reporters in Pudukottai when she was on her tour across the state to mobilize support for her re-entry into politics.
“Our AIADMK strong structure has collapsed due to some betrayal and manipulation. AIADMK Mahaparishad was valid only till December 2016. Post that all are just executive meetings. As long as I am there, no one can grab or destroy AIADMK I know how to unite the party,” said VK Sasikala.
Sasikala said the AIADMK workers should give a befitting reply to the EPS for taking over the post of interim general secretary in violation of party rules. He also said that he has no right to expel O Panneerselvam (OPS) when his own post is invalid.
She said the General Council meeting of 11 July was invalid because “it was called arbitrarily by people with selfish motives”.
“It is the desire of the party workers that I should become the general secretary and only someone chosen by the cadres can become the party general secretary,” he said.

It said that this was another reason for declaring the meeting of the General Council to be invalid.
The former interim general secretary said that the people of the state and the AIADMK workers are hurt by the sealing of the party office and in the coming days, the EPS will have to answer it to the party cadre.
