Aryan Khan is officially a director. He directed an advertisement for a luxury brand that he is a part of and his first model is none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Aryan Khan makes his directorial debut and his first inspiration is his superstar father Shah Rukh Khan. The new debutant director and Pathan actor shared a glimpse of Aryan’s project on social media. It is learned that Aryan had shot an ad for his luxury clothing brand and Shahrukh is working in this ad.
Shah Rukh shared a teaser of the ad on Twitter and wrote, “X mark the spot. 24 hours left.” Aryan shared it on Instagram with the caption, “ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVW_YZ. X will be here in 24 hours.”
The ‘X’ mentioned in both posts appears to be the logo that will be seen on the brand’s outfits. Fans would have spotted Shah Rukh and Suhana Khan wearing clothes from the label at KKR matches as part of the ongoing IPL matches in India.
While Aaryan has taken the director’s seat for the ad, he is also working towards making his debut as a director of a series. Last December, Aaryan revealed that he has written his first script and is all set to direct it. Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son confirmed the news on Instagram with a picture of a bound script, which was placed next to a clapboard with the name Red Chillies Production on it. He wrote, “Wrapped up with the writing… can’t wait to say the action.” Bilal Siddiqui, who is rumored to be co-writing the project with Aaryan, was among the first to comment.
Unlike Shah Rukh, Aryan is not interested in acting. It was claimed that Karan Johar offered Aryan an opportunity to make his acting debut but he turned down the offer. “It started as a very serious proposal. When Karan offered to launch Aryan and Aryan declined, Karan thought, ‘bachcha hai, ghar ki baat hai, aa jayegi line pe’. But after that Aryan kept saying no again and again.” Bollywood commotion a few months ago.
